Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support the development of PropertyGuru’s strategy, with a focus on execution of growth initiatives linked to our marketplace operations
- Research and analyze key business drivers, competitive environment, opportunities, trends and operating metrics for the business, understanding the similarities and differences across our markets
- Conduct regular competitive benchmarking within our markets and with global frontrunners in our business. Track emerging business models
- Work with Junior Analysts to deliver desired outcomes for the Group
- Run the annual Strategic Planning process in conjunction with sales and finance
- Track and report on key strategic projects and achievement of desired metrics
- Propose build vs. buy decisions including potential M&A targets to enable growth within a business segment
Influence and Persuade
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in middle management
- Create clear, simple, and persuasive narratives to inform and influence Senior Management
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-12 years’ experience including in top-tier strategy consulting, tech corporate strategy and/or PE with a focus on portfolio company operations
- Driven, high energy, positive, flexible and very outcome-focused
- Exceptional Excel and Powerpoint abilities
- Strong EQ and helpful nature
- Must have experience managing a project team with clients, including coaching junior resources
- MBA or quantitative degree preferred
- Strategic expertise in at least one of the following areas: Market Entry in Asia, Consumer Tech, Fintech, Retail/ e-Commerce, Product development
- Database query and advanced analytics exposure highly desirable
- Ideally, will have experience working in some aspect of proptech e.g. with a top tier developer or in a startup servicing proptech clients
