Provide accounting and clerical support to the SSC Finance Accounting team including but not limited to:
Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
Prepare payment listing for invoices due for payment
Address and respond to inquiries from vendor / internal departments / inter-companies
Perform monthly reconciliations
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
Perform any ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by superior
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Entry level or above 1 year of accounting experience at a professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliation and reporting.
Good attitude toward learning new skills
Good customer service mind set
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline and SLA requirements
Ability to work in a standardized environment with occasional variables
Able to support low complexity tasks and assist on small sized project initiatives
Ability to interact with a variety of people at all organizational levels
Simple analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to understand simple business and financial issues
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ms Excel, Salesforce and NetSuite an advantage but training is provided
