Job Brief
Reporting to the Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, you will be involved in developing and implementing marketing activities aligned to overall strategic company goals. You will also be responsible in maintaining the efficiency of administration activities and processes across different marketing functions, ensuring that administration is in accordance with company’s processes, policies, and compliance standards. And most importantly, keeping the marketing functions running smoothly.
Key Accountabilities
Your key accountabilities are and not limited to:
Publishing of Customer Press Releases
Proofreading and validating the customer's press release's content. And, if necessary, make adjustments before publishing after gaining customer’s consent.
Publishing Press releases from Account Managers onto our websites.
Updating Account Managers with the link to the Press Release that was published (for customer visibility).
Posting of the customer press release on social media channels.
Social media Community Management
Keep track of and respond to social media Direct Messages and Comments.
Depending on the nature of the content, collaborate with corresponding stakeholders to write responses (from Comments/Direct messages).
Interact with community members and customers in a professional, personable, and timely manner.
Use social listening tools to track good and negative comments as well as topic trends, with the goal of increasing engagement and resolving any possible issues that could harm brand reputation.
Administrative/Operation
Facilitate all end-to-end approval request according to specific timeline. Examples of request such as purchase order, invoice, contracts/ agreements, general paperwork.
Keeping check on timelines and submission deadlines and perform follow-ups where necessary.
Marketing budget tracking and reconciliation with Finance on a monthly basis (accrual, actual vs budget).
Follow-up on NDAs and contract signatories (internal stakeholders)
Marketing Communication
Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing advertising/communication campaigns
Monitoring campaign performance and preparing campaign reports.
Qualification and Experience
To be successful in this role:
Candidate should possess a diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in a marketing role.
Good organisational skills and time management skills.
Exceptional in paying attention to details.
Resourceful and can manage stakeholders (including communicating and expectations) very well.
Preferable, can write well and is fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Have a good understanding of business requisites, requests, and processes. He/ she can understand them easily and make simplification
Have a good knowledge on how various functions are setup in an organisation and how business units are integrated.
Able to work independently.
A team player who is able to work, collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Experienced with Microsoft Office products and knowledgeable with spreadsheets, and cloud-based file/ folder sharing and storage.
