Director, Sales Support

Job description

This role reports to the Chief Business Officer and is tasked with enabling the successful delivery of commitments made by the Sales team, maximize revenue growth through pricing and yield levers and development of the sales team, all backed by the mastery of sales-related data. This individual is the business partner to the Chief Business Officer and success enabler to the Country Managers. 


Responsibilities:

  • Key business partner to the Chief Business Officer in supporting sales delivery, sales enablement and pricing strategy
  • Manager of team of Sales support specialists including Ad Operations, Project Management, Sales Enablement, Pricing & Yield Management and Sales Compensation
  • Single owner of all sales related data including Targets, attainment, pipeline coverage and  ROI per headcount/team
  • Drive superior quality of sales data through discipline of data entry, continuous improvement of sales systems usability and improvements in sales processes
  • Assist Chief Business Officer to identify, track and analyze key sales KPIs
  • Single owner of forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage
  • Assist Country Managers in setting territories, quota allocation and tracking performance against the same
  • Educate executives on pricing and yield strategies for revenue maximization
  • Drive sales enablement strategies to ensure optimized processes and allocation of resources against prime opportunities
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities to grow profitability through sales strategies, process optimization, opportunity targeting etc.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant disciplines   
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on Sales related experience 
  • Experience in sales planning and tracking
  • Experience in implementing and improving business processes and systems
  • Familiar with CRM tools and systems 
  • High level of consulting skills and attitude required 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in multi-cultural environments 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Comfortable presenting to live audiences and via video conference
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Desirable to have experience with sales methodologies
  • Desirable to have knowledge in tracking advertising operations effectiveness
  • Highly winning personality ready to deal with conflict constructively 
  • Passionate about sales and developing excellent structures, processes and people 
  • Attitude of ownership in pursuit of delivering customer delight
