Business Development Manager (Non-developer sales)

Job description

  • Responsible for developing and growing online ad revenue in Malaysia via cold calls and face-to-face meeting as well as presentation with clients
  • Identify, target and acquire new business clients
  •  Grow existing customer’s wallet share by providing high level solutions
  • Develop creative and compelling online advertising proposals to clients – negotiate and close contracts
  • Manage and grow the sales opportunity pipeline
  • Conduct presentations and consultative sales at C-level
  • Initiate new partnerships and collaborations with suitable external professional authorities with the aim of securing more revenue
  • Drive new initiatives and develop out of the box ideas


  • At least 3 years of sales experience
  • Possess good verbal communication and telesales skills at C-level
  • Media sales or online sales experience is a plus
  • Good understanding of online advertising solutions and industry is a plus
  • Great interpersonal skills - able to build rapport quickly and develop relationships at multiple levels including C-level contacts
  • Must be proactive, creative, highly energetic, tenacious and independent with consultative selling skills
