Business Development Manager (Agency)

Job description

The role:

This role reports to the Head of Agency Sales and is responsible for growing PropertyGuru's revenue and profits through prospecting, acquiring and developing new and existing business streams

  • Grow and acquire new revenue streams. 
  • This includes identifying sales opportunities, up-selling and securing sales deals with Real Estate agents/ agencies   
  • Initiate new partnerships and collaborations with suitable external professional authorities 
  • Manage and track clients’ transactional information in CRM
  • Prepare proposals and reports such as customized sales proposals for customers and reports for internal reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with Director-level clients in the assigned accounts Deliver presentations and organize quarterly business review with Director-level clients


  • 3 to 5 years of telemarketing experience, preferably in online media/ advertising sales or Real Estate industries
  • Excellent understanding of 
    • online user behavior, including mobile and social networking
    • online marketing and measurement of online performance, especially impact of SEO and conversions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to converse in mandarin
  • Proactive, energetic and result-oriented with the drive to exceed sales target
  • Strong customer service and rapport building skills
  • Sense of humor and a positive attitude 
  • Team player and able to work with minimal supervision
